#BrainTraining Episode 9 with Ellen Thomas - Wednesday 2nd June, 7pm

We're delighted to be welcoming on Ellen Thomas as our next guest on our Brain Training Live series on our Instagram (@walkandtalk4men) next Wednesday evening at 7pm.

Ellen is a writer and blogger, whose website 'Ellen on the Edge' showcases her regular blog posts, where she writes with honesty and openness about her own mental health and her experiences with this and depression, and in particular with bipolar disorder (or 'Billy' as she refers to it), which she was formally diagnosed with in February 2020.

She was inspired, as she says on her website, to start writing about her experiences after encouragement from her dad. She has a strong social media following of just under 5000 combined followers on Twitter and Instagram, and has campaigned and taken part in activities to raise awareness and funds for Mind amongst others, and she's also part of our sister group, Walk&Talk4Us and is actively involved with them and hosts walk events for them down in Sussex, where she lives.

We love Ellen's blog and we're really looking forward to having her on to talk about this, what she does to stay mentally well and about the importance of encouraging positive and supportive conversation around mental health.
