Just checking in to see how we are all keeping? Obviously a bit of a crazy time still with the second lockdown. We were a bit unsure if we'd be able to carry on walks with further restrictions. However, having read the further guidance on the Government website, as our group of bros is offering support as per the following guidelines on group activities:
“Support groups that are essential to deliver in person can continue with up to 15 participants where formally organised to provide mutual aid, therapy or any other form of support. This includes support to victims of crime, people in drug and alcohol recovery, new parents and guardians, people with long-term illnesses, people facing issues relating to their sexuality or gender, and those who have suffered bereavement.”
Then we're pleased to say we can carry on safely delivering walks under these guidelines, which are undoubtedly needed at this time more than ever, both in small groups and also our "Bro2Bro" two person walks. I've done a couple of the latter socially distanced over at Hylands Park with Jez earlier this week and also my good mate Patrick this morning.
And we've also had our first ever Northern W&T4M event today, as our new Bolton walk leader Bob Flood hosted his first walk up at Rivington Pike today! Well done Bob, nice work mate.
Don't forget if you wanna host a walk or arrange a Bro2Bro walk you can drop us a message on any of our socials - @walkandtalk4men - or via email, which is email@example.com.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend people, speak soon,
