Our social media guru Alex MacGregor was in London last night for a very special event at Foyles bookshop in Central London.
Best known as a member of the chart topping pop group The Saturdays, and a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, Frankie Bridge has published her new book titled 'Open', which is about her experiences and struggles with her mental health and depression, with contributions from her psychologist and psychiatrist.
The evening consisted of a Q&A session hosted by journalist and blogger Daisy Buchanan, followed by a signing afterwards, and Frankie very kindly agreed to show her support for our group, posing with some of our promotional stickers.
Frankie said at the event last night that she hoped her book could go onto become something positive to read for those who might be struggling with their mental health rather than be viewed as a 'self help guide', and that even though she will always have to be mindful of her mental health, she also hoped her story would encourage others to still live full and productive lives in spite of their own battles.
Thank you Frankie for showing your support to Walk&Talk4Men, and best of luck with 'Open' from all of us!
