UPDATE, 19TH OCTOBER 2021
Unfortunately owing to scheduling and location issues, the walk that was scheduled for Saturday 6th November at Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens is temporarily postponed and will no longer be taking place at the original date and venue. Please bear with us whilst we confirm a new date and venue for next month, thank you for your patience and understanding.
Hello all, Alex here!
Not long back in from this morning's walk event over at Great Notley Country Park. Massive massive THANK YOU if you came along today, so happy to say we welcomed four new first time walk attendees today all of whom were an absolute delight and I loved talking to.
It really filled my heart to hear them say as well that they felt better for coming along as that is precisely why we hold these walks, to get bros talking and enjoying some good fresh air and exercise. It really does help, even in a small way.
So I'm pleased to announce straight away that our next walk event for our Braintree bros and gents, which I am hosting, will be at Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens at 9am on Saturday, 6th November.
We will meet at 9am before starting on a walk of about 1-2k around the gardens at 9:15am. All are then welcome to join us afterwards for a tea or coffee from the Cool Beans cafe in the gardens.
All men or those who identify as men welcome to join us for good company, a bit of fresh air and exercise in a beautiful open green space and most importantly supportive ears for any mental wellbeing struggles you may be having.
Equally no pressure to talk, just to be a listening ear to someone can really make all the difference. Please share with the gents in your life and we hope to see you all there!
All the best, take care and much love,
Alex MacGregor (W&T4M Walk Leader / Web and Social Media Assistant)
