New walk event: Braintree Station, Flitch Way Country Park - Sunday 27th November, 11am

Oct. 28, 2022, 6 p.m.

Hi everyone, Alex checking in here!

Firstly I just have to say apologies to those who were coming along - and who indeed turn up - for what was meant to be our relaunched Braintree walks last Sunday. Due to the torrential rain that was forecast, and with the safety of all turning up paramount, we decided not to go ahead with the walk.

However, a week on and we're happy to announce what will instead be our first relaunched walk back! Join us for a 2-3k walk along Flitch Way, starting from the beginning of this popular walking route from Braintree Railway Station on Sunday 27th November at 11am. Parking is available here or in the Town Centre, which is a short five minute walk from the station.

We start off at 11:15am, and will pause at The Booking Hall Cafe in Rayne for refreshments, before making our way back to Braintree.

We offer all men and those who identify as men a safe, supportive, friendly space to get some fresh air, get outdoors and to talk about whatever's on their mind - or just to be a listening ear for someone who might need it.

Having now established a very successful regular monthly walk event in Witham, and we are here for all men in Braintree to know that you don't have to go through mental health struggles or any other worries alone - our group is a safe friendly haven you can turn to!

Please feel free to share with the gents and bros in your life who you know might need us. We look forward to seeing you on 27th November!

Speak soon and all the best,

Alex MacGregor (W&T4M Walk Leader, Braintree and Witham / Web and Content Executive, Walk&Talk4Men)
