Hello everyone, Steve here!
Well what a fantastic start to 2022 the St Neots group has had. Not only have our two regular walk events this month had over 30 new gents joining us (a record), but some of our group have also started more regular smaller walks together in the area as well. That really is the power of walking with our fellow gents and bros and what it can have for our mental and physical health.
We have our first regular walk lined up this month hosted by myself and Justin, and it's next Sunday over at the usual place, Paxton Pits Nature Reserve, meeting at the car park for a 1:15pm start on the Heron walk route. We welcome all newcomers aboard to join us, even just to be a listening ear to someone who might need it can really make all the difference.
Big thank you as well to everyone who has supported us on our John O'Groats to Lands End walking challenge we've been doing this month to raise money for Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind - we've raised over £975 which is a fantastic result.
All the best, and speak soon,
Steve Whitney (W&T4M Walk Leader, St Neots)
