Hi everyone, Alex checking in here,
Hope you're all good - obviously things are more subdued given sad events of the last few days but I hope this finds you well.
Just wanted to pop on and let you know that myself and Lee will be back again in Witham next month for another River Walk for our gents and bros, this time on Sunday 9th October, starting from outside the Town Hall in Newland Street at 11am.
The walk's quite a steady gentle one, roughly 2-3k along the River, and we will finish up at the Valero Lounge in Newland Street just along from the Town Hall, where all are welcome to join us for refreshments afterwards.
This walk will also be a special one, as it will in be memory of Marc Rodwell, an ambassador for Movember who recently passed away that was well known to several of our W&T4M community who did so much to promote and advocate for better men's mental health, which we will mark with a minute's silence before we start.
All men and those who identify as men are welcome to join this monthly walk event to talk in a safe supportive environment about anything that's on your mind or any struggles you may be having with your mental health, or even just to be listening ears for someone who might need it. All whilst getting some gentle exercise and fresh air.
Please share with the gents and bros in your life - we look forward to seeing you on 9th October!
Take care and speak soon,
Alex MacGregor (W&T4M Walk Leader, Braintree and Witham / Web and Content Executive, Walk&Talk4Men)
