UPDATE: All of our walks in November are being held in memory of Lucas Backhouse. For more information about this please visit our most recent blog here: http://www.walkandtalk4men.com/blog/remembering-lucas-backhouse-2003-2021/
Hello all, James here, how are we all?
I'm just about to head off for a week away in Cornwall, but before I did I just wanted to pop on here and tell you about a couple of things.
Firstly a huge huge THANK YOU everyone who came out to our first ever Witham walk last weekend for World Mental Health Day. We had as you can see a fantastic turnout and support on the day, big thank you as well to Cllrs Chelsey Jay, Ross Playle and William Korsinah for their attendance and support.
And massive thanks as well to Essex Police as well who have now agreed to promote the group and attend all of our future Essex walks, your support is so valued.
So because of the success of this walk we're now running the walk from Witham Town Hall as monthly, and the date for the next walk event will be on Sunday, 14th November at 11:30am.
Meeting place will be outside Witham Town Hall , 61 Newland Street, Witham, Essex CM8 2FE, from which we will then go for a casual stroll through the wonderful river walk, before returning back to the town hall for refreshments.
All men welcome to join a safe and supportive space to talk about whatever's on your mind or just to be a listening ear for someone who might need it. Look forward to seeing you all there,
James Mace (W&T4M Founder)
